CANADA! While attending my sister's wedding in Canada, white trooper dropped by at the Columbia icefield. We were practically drinking "mineral" water from the clean water of the frozen reservoir and glaciers.

Some amazing facts to garner some reality into these pictures :
Columbia Icefield
Type: Icefield
Area: 325 km square (Largest body of ice in the Rocky Mountains
Highest Point: Mt Columbia, 3745 m (12,284ft)
Average Snowfall: 7m (23ft)/year
Drainage: Pacific, Arctic and Atlantic Ocean

And yes...Whitetrooper did see an avalanche up at the Snow Dome. Nobody saw it as but the time I pointed it out to them, the great waterfall of snow halted after a few seconds. Eat your heart out Imperial Snow Trooper!

Would like to thank www.columbiaicefield.com for some of these amazing photos. I truly enjoyed myself over at the icefields.
